YouthTouch Grant Competion:

Goldenrod Research Corporation supports hands-on technology in the classroom through it's YouthTouch Matching Grant.   Applications are accepted year round and awards made three times anually: spring, fall and winter.   Deadlines are :

Round I Spring May 15th
Round II Fall September 30th
Round III Winter December 15th

Hands-on technology education tools bring math and science to life for schools who become pilot/referral sites for YouthTouch.   When awarded, the grants provide 50% of the cost of a comprehensive YouthTouch Technology Integration Program.   The schools are responsible for matching the other half.   Goldenrod regularly works with those awarded to find the funding if needed.

What Goldenrod Expects of Grant Recipients

  • That YouthTouch will be used with your students on a frequent basis
  • That you will work with Goldenrod to assure the YouthTouch program is successful
  • That a faculty member be designated as YouthTouch contact person
  • That said contact person be empowered and instructed to communicate with Goldenrod about all facets of your school's experience with YouthTouch
  • That your school will serve as a referral site for prospective YouthTouch schools to visit
  • That your school will serve as host of a YouthTouch workshop for area educators which Goldenrod will arrange and conduct
